This is a super easy little project, and great for kids! All you will need is bird feed, peanut butter (creamy works best, but all I had was crunchy), paper towel tubes or toilet paper tubes, a butterknife and scissors.
First, cut your paper towel tubes in half. You don’t need to do this if you are using toilet paper tubes.
Then, smear peanut butter all over the tubes. You have to work quickly, or it will dry out and you’ll have to re-apply the peanut butter.
Then just roll the tube in bird feed. Give the tube a little pat down to make sure the bird feed is all adhered to it.
Then, just slide the tube over a branch of a tree, and watch the birds flock to it!
